SENSATIONAL ACCIDENT.

MOTOR AND TRAIN COLLIDE.

A sensational accident occurred at a level crossing at Claudelands(Hamilton) yesterday morning when a covered motor came into collision with a train. The occupants of the car Mr D. L. Smith, builder, and bis son Charles, were thrown out and the motor completely smashed. Mr Smith senr., was badly injured about the head and severely shaken. His son had one leg badly injured and it is feared amputation will be necessary. The accident has caused great unrest.
