RAILWAY TRAFFIC BLOCKED.

The following telegram from headquarters has been received by the local stationmaster: — Heavy slips south of Horopito, will probably block line for some days. Department will make best arrangements possible for tranship of passengers past break, but until further advice applicants for tickets to stations south of Horopito must be informed of the position, and that the Department does not guarantee that such passengers will reach their respective destinations at any particular time and that they travel at their own risk of extra expense. Goods and parcel traffic for south of Horopito must not be accepted until further advised.
