EXPORTS OF STOCK.
THE TOTALS FOR JUNE
The exports of stock from New Zealand during June comprised 134 horses to Australia and 20 to the Pacific Islands, 1007 sheep to Australia, and 202 to the Pacific Islands, and 74 pigs to the Pacific Islands. The heavy shipment of sheep to Australia was made up from the following ports: — Napier, 2 ; Wellington, II; Lyttelton, 755 ; Timaru, 163 ; and Dunedin, 76. Of the horses shipped there were 106 draughts (78 stallions, 15 mares, I gelding, 7 colts, and 5 fillies), 8 medium draughts (3 mares and 5 geldings) 23 thoroughbreds (5 stallions, II mares, 6 geldings, and I foal), 9 light horses (6 mares and 3 geldings), 3 trotting horses (1 stallion and 2 geldings), S pony mares.
