LOAN PROPOSALS CARRIED BY LARGE MAJORITY. On Saturday a poll of ratepayers was taken to authorise the raising of the following loans : Walker’s Gully Concrete Culvert ... ... £i7s° Concrete Bridge over Mangahoe Stream at Te Awamutu ... £7OO The result was practically a unanimous vote in favour of each of the loans as is shown in the following figures: —
There were two votes informal in connection with Walker’s Gully, while three informal votes were received relative to the Mangahoe Bridge loan.
