KIHIKIHI.

(Own Correspondent.) A large number of Maoris are at present in Kihikihi in connection with the payment by the Government of the late owners of the Tokanui block.

Messrs Lloyd Bros., of Otorohanga, gave a highly-successful kinematograph entertainment on Monday last. If sufficient support is given the manager proposes to continue these entertainments every Monday evening. The excellent and varied selection of views shown met with great appreciation from the audience, and lovers of this form of amusement are assured a pleasant evening’s entertainment. The inspector, after his annual examination of school gardens in this district, awarded the Kihikihi school garden third place.
