COMBINED SUNDAY SCHOOLS PICNIC.

: The final meeting of the cornDined Sunday schools picnic committee was held on Tuesday afternoon, when a statement of accounts was submitted and passed. The liberal subscriptions received by the treasurer were not only sufficient to defray the cost of provisions and prizes without trenching on the funds of the respective Sunday schools, but left a small credit balance which was divided equally between the three schools. A vote of thanks was accorded to the many subscribers, special mention being made of Messrs Middlebrook, Le Sueur, and W. J. Phillips, and above all, of Mr R. Griffiths, for his gratuitous and valuable services.
