WAIKATO PRESBYTERY.

The bi-monthly meeting of the V aikato Presbytery was held in St. Andrew’s Church, Hamilton, on Tuesday, last. In the absence of the Rev. A. Gov/, the Rev. W. Woollass acted as moderator and Rev'. Thos. Scott as clerk. There was a good attendance of elders, and several liome Missionaries were present. Reports were given in from the various districts, showing that good work was being done through the various agencies of the church. Excellent progress had been made at Huntly, Ngaruawahia, Mata Mata and Te Kuiti.. A commission consisting of the Revs. A. Gow, W. Woollass, and Mr R. Ramsay was appointed to visit bluntly and advise them in connection with revised plans for working the district. It was reported that the Summer School had been most successful, and Hamilton was congratulated cm carrying through so big a series of meetings, with such good results. The next meeting was fixed for Thursday, April 4th.
