POLO.
The official opening of the season in connection with the Tc Awamutu Polo Club, which takes place on the " Green Hill " polo grounds to-morrow (Wednesday) at 3 p.m., promises to be a most interesting and enjoyable event. The various teams will play several practice games, so that from a spectacular point of view the afternoon should be most enjoyable. Afternoon tea will be provided, and it is hoped that both enthusiasts and friends will be present in large numbers on this, the first public appearance of the club forthe current season.
