OHAUPO SALE.
At Ohaupo, on November 28th, we had an entry of 866 head of cattle, practically all yearlings, and 100 ewes with lambs. There was a fairly good inquiry, and the majority of the entry was disposed of. We quote : Store 3year steers £6 Is, store cows £3 12s 6d to £3 17s 6d, fatcows.£s 15s to £7, 2-year steers £4 15s, choice 12 to 15 months steers £3 5s to £3 12, same age heifers £3 7s 6d to £3 15s, mixed yearlings £2 15s to £3, dairy cows £6 to £7 lOs, others £4 10s to £5 10s, ewes in wool with lambs 20s. CLEARING SALE AT MANGAPI ICO. • On Monday, Novomber 27th, we held a clearing sale at Mangapiko, Te Awamutu, on behalf of Mr Fred Gibson. There was a very large attendance, and good prices obtained right through. Yearling steers made £3 9s, fresh empty cows £4 7s 6d, fresh 3-year steers £5.175, I year old empty heifers £4, draught mare with foal £4O, unbroken medium draught 2 year old horses, £l6 to £24, aged draught horses £l3 to £l7; medium draught mare £36, hoggets in wool 15s 9d, waggon £62, hay rake £8 ss, mower £l3 10s, implements and furniture usual rates. NGARUAwAHIA SALE. At Ngaruawahia, on November 29th, we had a yarding of 1841 head of cattle, 1125 of which were fresh conditioned Steers from 3 years old upwards, nearly all from Waingaro, Te Akau, and Waimai, the whole entry with few exceptions being wellbred, nice quality cattle. Buyers were numerous, and' competition keen, consequently very few remained unsold. Very forward bullocks made £7 to £B, nice quality 3 to 3% year steers in fresh condition £5 17s 6d, store 3 and 3% year steers £5 lOs to £6 6s, fat cows £5 lOs to £6 16s, choice 2 year steers £4 5s to £4 I2s 6d, nice quality 15 to 16 months old steers £3 lOs to £3' 15s, choice yearling steers £3 3s to £3 9s, 15 to 18 months dairy heifers £3 15s to £4, 2 year old heifers £4 2s 6d to £4 lOs, mixed yearlings and nine months old cattle £2 12s 6d to £3. ■ - SALE AT TE RAHU. qWe-he.ld a clearing sale at Te RahmorkWednesday, 29th inst., on behalf of Mr A.
