DRY MASH FOR PIGS.
After exhaustive experiments a South Australian farmer claims to have proved that pollard fed dry to pigs is more effective than when given in slop form. Dry pollard has to be masticated, but when given as a slop, the farmer in question contends that the animals gorge it, with the result that much of the nutriment is not obtained.
