WEDDING BELLS.
ARCHIBALD—BRAY.
TheFeilding Star states that a wedding which was surrounded by tokens ot happiness took place at the Presbyterian Church at Fielding on Thursday, November 16th, when Mr Geo. M. Archibald, accountant at the Bank of New Zealand at Te Awamutu, was united in matrimony to Miss J. M. Bray, of Fielding. The officiating minister was the Rev. G. Budd, v and the ceremony occasioned more than the usual amount of interest, as the bride, who has lived all her life in Feilding, was well and favourably known. The church was prettily decorated by the choir members, and, as showing the esteem in which the young couple are held, the church was crowded. The choir present in strong force rendered appropriate music. For her wedding dress the bride chose a singularly handsome winning style, carried out in white silk chiffon taffeta, ornamented with silk all-over lace and pearls, the veil being of Brussels silk embroidered net, the coronet of orange blossoms crowning an unusually beautiful bridal effect. The ceremony complete, the party, with many relatives and friends, gathered in St. Paul's Parish Hall, where Mrs Bray held a reception. Amidst, a scene of great animation and: brightness Mr and Mrs Archibaldwere offered heartiest congratulaV tions, after-which they left by ff thji Main Trunk express for Te Awa* mutu. A very large number of handsome and cbstly presents were given to couple, including a silver- sugar basjn from Mr Archibald's fellow officers of the Bank of New Zealand at Te Awamutu.
