Further remarks were stopped by a sudden shower, and after singing the National Anthem, the children returned to the school. To-day at noon Sir John will lay the foundation stone at Tokanui. Sir John Findlay requested the Headmaster to give the children a half-holiday to-day in honour of his visit.
