EMPIRE PICTURE COMPANY.
The exhibition given by this company at the Te Awamutu Town Hall on Tuesday evening last was in every respect an admirable one, and fully justified all that had been written about it. Standing prominently out from the other subjects must be mentioned "Foe to Richelieu," a magnificient historical drama ot the day of Queen Anne. This film beautifully coloured, and faultlessly screened and acted is indeed a masterpiece. All the items were of a very high order of merit, and many of great educational value. The entertainment provided, was as usual with the Empire Company's production excellent, and the management is to be commended for showing such high-grade pictures. An excellent programme of assorted subjects will be screened on Tuesday next, and a rich, treat is 1 again in store for the many patrons of the company. ■
