WEDDING BELLS.

PETLEY—DODD.

A quiet but very pretty wedding was solemnised in the Methodist Church Te Awamutu on Wednesday morning, when Jessica Rose, youngest daughter of Thos. E. Dodd of Mangapiko, was married to Mr Gordon H. Petley of Attelborough, Norfolk, England. The Rev. J. A. Lamond officiated. The church was prettily decorated with flowers by the many friends of the young couple. The bride was attired in a travelling costume, and was attended by Miss Tims as bridesmaid. Mr R. Henderson was best man. The party had luncheon at Te Awamutu, and the young couple left by the mid-day express for Auckland en route for England where the honeymoon will be spent.
