CRICKET.
WEDNESDAY V. SATURDAY PLAYERS. The local cricket club played the first match of. the season yesterday afternoon (Labour Day) on the grounds adjoining the Victoria Park, when the Saturday players suffered a defeat at the hands of the Wednesday players, the scores being 125 and 146 respectively.
