Messrs Lawson and Swain report as under: —
We held our first sale of poultry, produce, timber, and furniture at the Mart, Sloane Street, Te Awamutu, on Saturday. Fowls were in good demand. Good young hens 4s each, older >ir£nlT 2s 6d and 2s. Furni tufts? and sundries realised good prices. The price for timber was in favour of buyers.
