VALEDICTORY.

MR W. G. CAMP FARE WELLED.

On Monday evening, at the conclusion of the regular meeting of the Pride of Te Awa; u*n Lodge, No. 84, U.A.0.D., Mr W. G. Camp was farewelled by his fellow members prior to his departure from the district. There was a large attendance of members, which bore testimony to the popularity of Mr Camp in his lodge. The „customary toasts and speeches were duly made and responded to. Mr W. Groves presided, and in a few words expressed, on behalf of those present, the regret felt at the departure of one of the prime movers of the lodge. Mr Camp, replying, thanked all for their wishes of prosperity, He would always have very pleasant recollections of days spent atTe Awamutu, and hoped revisit his many friends, when opportunity permitted. ' Several songs were contributed by those present, which were all heartily appreciated. The singing of "Auld Lang Syne" concluded a very pleasant evening.
