PIRONGIA.

(Own Correspondent.)

On evening a most enjoyable Social and dance was held in the public hall in connection with the Pirongia Lawn Tennis Club. The attendance was very large, and it w s pleasing to note the large number of visitors present from Paterangi, which is conclusive evidence of the good feeling existing between the two neighbouring districts. Throughout, the programme was well organised, and was heartily appreciated by all present. Dancing was equally enjoyable, and it was not until the early hours that the party dispersed. The music was supplied by Mrs Mortom(piano) and Mr W.Holmes (violin).
