CENTRAL H.B. SUB-UNION TO-MORROW’S GAMES. Patrons of Rugby will have two attractions on Coronation Park tomorrow afternoon, the Waipawa seniors being scheduled to meet the unbeaten Otane team at 2.45, and the Waipawa thirds being drawn to meet Waipukurau at the same time. The Waipawa- juniors will travel to Te Ante to meet the College boys. WAIPAWA SENIORS. The Waipawa senior team to play Otane at Coronation Park to-morrow, will be chosen from the following players: —Walkei’, Eru, Constable, Lovatt (captain), Iggulden, J. Gair, T. Gair, Nicolls, Hemmingsen, Davis, Osborne, Davy, MeCleary, Wairau, Hopkins, Beck, Heskett, Corner, Bates, Hudson. Players to be on the ground at 2.15 p.m. sharp. OMAKERE v. PORANGAHAU. The following will represent Omakere against Porangahau, at Central Park No. 2:—Hunter, Brewster, Beale, Lopdell, Rowe, Makutu, McGlashan, Price (2), Lewis, Avison, Cox, Williams, Nation (2), Isaacson, Stewart, Rohe. SOUTHERN TOUR. At the fortnightly meeting of the management committee of the Central H.B. Sub-union last evening the chairman, Mr A. L. McCormick, stated that the New Zealand Union had approved the proposed tour of the south. The tour was expected to comprise matches with Motueka, Golden Bay and Nelson, he said. The estimated cost was £2OO, of which they already had £4O in a special fund. Application had been made to the Minister of Internal Affairs for permission to hold an art union to raise the balance, and he had no doubt that the scheme would meet ■with approval. The chairman’s action was confirmed. Messrs R. S. Ricketts and C. M. Williamson were appointed a subcommittee to arrange details in connection with the art union. It was stated that the area involved would be the whole of Hawke’s Bay.
