SCHEME SHELVED. CANBERRA, This day. It is revealed that the Federal Cabinet last week reached a tacit decision to shelve the national insurance scheme. Meanwhile, it is understood that the objections to certain features of plans prepared for its extension in the scheme will be reviewed in anticipation of its operation later.
