PERSONAL ITEMS.

Miss J. Sullivan left on Momla on a holiday visit to Auckland.

Mr A. Kenny, of the local postal staff, is at present on his annual leave and, with Mrs Kenny, left on Monday for Auckland. Mr F. M. Tickner, manager of th-* Waipawa branch ol Williams and Kettle, Ltd., left for Wellington yesterday on a holiday visit.

The Rev. W. S. Stephens and Mrs Stephens arrived from Gisborne yesterday afternoon and have taken up their residence at the vicarage. Mr J. M. Carroll, clerk of the Court at Waipawa and Waipukurau, has returned from his three weeks’ animal leave, spent in the Auckland district. Mr C. P. Wilkinson, who has been relieving Mr Carroll, has returned to Hastings.
