The situation on the Russian and Roumanian fronts is generally satisfactory. The Germans are not at present making serious progress in Paldolia or Bessarabia, while the magnificent resistance of the RussoRoumanians is holding the enemy in Moldavia. The Austro-German forces have not yet reached Ocna, and have not progressed much down the Trotus valley. A severe struggle is progressing further south in the neighborhood of the Sereth.
