A French communique states: —The artillery is active between Cemy and Craonne, notably in the sector south of Ailles, where a German attack on the trenches we captured on the 11th was repulsed with heavy losses. Two enemy surprise attacks at Bois de Caurieres and Bezonvaux failed.
