A STRONG POSITION CAPTURED. ENEMY NIGHT ATTACKS REPULSED. (Received This Day 11 a.m.) ROME, June 17. A communique states: — During' a heavy storm the Alpiners captured a strong position south-west of Montepurche, at the head of Posino Valley. Three enemy night attacks at Montemagnaboseki were repulsed with heavy losses. Our advance north of Frinzel'a Yalley continues, despite the difficulties of terrain and the enemy’s stubborn resistance.
