PERSONAL ITEMS.
Mr Strachan, Inspector of Schools, is paying an official visit to Waipawa. Mr Rountree, assistant master at the Waipawa District High School, has applied to the Education Board for leave of absence to go on active service. Mr Dighton, who is attached to the staff of the Waipawa District High School, has received advice that he has passed the Life-saving Society’s examination for the order of merit, which entitles him to the society’s silver medallion.
