Nurse Walton will visit Waipa* in the interests of the Plunket Sociq next Tuesday, as advertised. Mr W. F. Barnes, who has been a res demt of Waipukurau for a nut betr of years, is leaving to take up icysition as manager of a bakery llapier. Dr. Elizabeth Gunn, M. 8., Cli.l Edin., who has been granted the tei porary rank of captain while et ployed as permanent medical oflic, on a New Zealand transport, is t| first woman to leave the Dominion c such duly. Dr. Gunn was previous] attached to the Trentham Hospit staff.
