SECRET SESSION.

TO DISCUSS CABINET CRISIS. TEMPORARY RELIEF. AMERICA STANDS FIRM. LEGISLATURE SUPPORTS WILSON. RUSSIANS IN FRANCE. There are indications that t he Cabinet crisis in England will be passed without a resort to an election, but the position has evidently been very critical.' No inf ormation is available as to Germany’s reply to America’s ultimatum, but it is stated that the State Legislature is giving unqualified support to the President in his action. There is a story of th e landing of Russian troops at Marseilles to co-operate with the Allies on the Western front. It is somewhat remarkable that this news, if authentic, should have been allowed to pass hy the censor, whilst New Zealand papers are not permitted to even indicate the ports to which our Expeditionary Forces have been sent.
