Mr John Adams, of Waipawa, is the suooessful tenderer for the new post office at Tikokiuo. The amouut has not transpired. Mr James Williams, an old Waipawa resident who has taken up his abode in Wanganui, arrived in Waipawa by motor oar, yesterday. Mr Williams proceeds to Napier. Mr Hall, M P., informs us that tbe Hin. Thomas Mackenzie, Minister for agriculture, has agreed to o; on officially the new post office and the new school at Takapau on May 9. He will also, while in tbe distriot, visit Dannevirke, Waipukurau, Ouga Onga, Tikokiuo, and Waipawa.
