He left Ohriitohuroh at 5 a m., and raaohed Dunedin at 5 21 p.m , thus reducing the record of 14hr lmin put up by Humm on January 27th by Ihr 40min. Ho punotured a tyre on three occasions, but with the exception of a delay of a quarter of an hour in one case, no time was lost.

At the Easter meeting of the Hutt Valley Ooursing Club, on Monday, the local bred dog Royal Artillery (Danger Signal Hilda Maxim) accounted for tho Open Stakes, beating in the fiual course the Australian bred slut Jewel Box, by 5 points to 4, after a oliuking course. The Maiden Stake was divided between Dominion and Taipatoi. A supplementary stake was unfinished owing to shortage of hares.
