(Own Correspondent) Napier, This day Trouble has ooourred in the fishing industry owing to the men engaged on trawlers nptifying tho employers that they desired to be paid wages instead of working on the share system. A reoent award of the Arbitration Court adopted the wages’ system but stated that they may continue to work on shares if they desired. At a meeting of the men it was decided not to oontiuue on shares, end, as the owners of trawlers consider it impossible iu the present state of the industry to pay wages, seven of the trawlers ere now idle. Three others, woiked on the wages’ system, are not affeoted.
