Waipukurau Races.

The annual meeting of the Waipukurau Jookoy Club on Easter Monday promises to be one of the most successful gatherings held iu the district. If the weather continues on its best behaviour, it is oertain that crowds from all parti of Hawke’s Bay will foregather on the course, for the train arrangomentis are convenient from both north and south. The fields are exceptionally strong in regard to quantity aud quality and speculation should be brisk. Mr Nightingale, the secretary, has his arrangements well in hand for the comfort of patrons, who are well catered fer by the executive of the olub. Elford’s and Limbriok’s drags will run from Waipawa to the oourse and return immediately after the last race.
