TIKOKINO.

The attendance at tbe public meeting called to re organise the public library was somewhat interfered with by the weather. Mr McKay was in the ohair. ft was decided to arrange for a concert aud dance on 13th May, to provide funds for new books, etc. An attractive programme is being arranged, and with the assistance of tho residents and settlers the library will be put on a pound footing. Messrs McKay and Parana were appointed joint secretaries for the oonoert.
Messrs Mauson and 00. are erecting a small mill on Mr Ireland’s Argyll section. Their intention is to out a block of 300 acres on the southern end of Rathbone’s Tikokino property.
