The Teacher Is Not Always Right
In view of the publicity given recently to the weakness in spelling by New Zealand children, a recent happening in Cambridge will be of interest. A junior class pupil sent in her weekly assignment, and received it back with the word “alright” marked as incorrect, and altered to “allright.”
