* i —" - , LEAMINGTON AMENDMENTS" METHODS OF PAYMENT A draft copy of amendments to the water by-laws was. considered at the monthly meeting of the Leamington Town Board on Wednesday evening. The main points of the amendments connected with methods of payment by consumers. Ordinary consumers will pay by rate as in the past, but extraordinary supply for commercial and industrial purposes will be metered' and charged at the rate of 2s a thousand gallons. '. Drinking water for stock will not . come under extraordinary supply*; "' Where water is metered, the .cost of meters will be borne by the consumv ers. 'The new by-law's will give the ' J ' board : power to apply restrictions on the use of water when emergency demands.
