Finger Caught in Saw.

As a result of his hand being caught in a circular saw on Saturday, Mr William Chapman, aged 22, of Roto-o-rangi, received injuries to a forefinger which necessitated his removal to the Waikato Hospital. Returns of Income. The taxpayers of the country are notified that returns of income are required on or before June 3. The returns should be completed and forwarded to the branch office of the Land and Income Tax Department where the taxpayer’s records are filed. It will be appreciated that June 3 is near to hand and if for any reason the return cannot be furnished by the date mentioned application should be made for an extension of time. Where returns are accepted compiled to a date subsequent to March 31, they should, be furnished within two months of that date. Returns are also required from persons notwithstanding that by reason of the special exemptions allowable by law they may not be liable for tax.
