FIRE IN DOMAIN
SCRUB BURNS FIERCELY BRIGADE’S GOOD SAVE A fire broke out in the undergrowth on the lake bank in To Koutu Park near Trinity Presbyterian Churcli at about 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon. The flames spread quickly in the dry scrub and were gaining a firm hotel when the alarm was given. The Cambridge Fire Brigade arrived quickly on the scene and had little difficulty in suppressing the outbreak; although had the fire not been observed in its early stages it would have spread over a considerable area.
