CAMBRIDGE PROGRESS

NEW CHAMBER OF COMMERCE * ,/LAST NIGHT’S MEETING There was an attendance of 35 businessmen at a meeting held in the old Parish Hall last night when a new Chamber of Commerce was formed. The meeting was enthusiastic enough and there was practically a unanimous opinion that some body was necessary to help promote the business and other interests of the community. There was some difference of opinion as to whether just a Retail Traders’ Association or a Businessmen-s body or Chamber of Commerce should be formed and finally the last mentioned was decided upon. A detailed report of the meeting will appear in Friday’s issue. *
