MONDAY * , May 11— Chinese troops and American - volunteer group fliers killed 4500 of the Japanese invading forces when they were lured into a trap on the Burma Road. * # ■* T\yo submarines were sunk or damaged when Allied aircraft at- 1 * tacked them off the north-east coast of Australia. TUESDAY May 12— A German army of 2,000,000 men moved against the Russians on the Donetz front. * *■ *= In three days 101 Axis raiders were either destroyed or damaged over Malta. *= * * The Chinese lines of entrapment" are holding fast around the Japanese column which was trapped on the Burma Road.
