DAIRY AWARDS

WAIKATO WINTER SHOW CAMBRIDGE AND BRUNTWOOD COMPANIES Successes by the Cambridge Cooperative Dairy Company in the butter section and the Bruntwood Co-operative Dairy Company in the cheese section, have brought the district into prominence at the Waikato Winter Show which opens today.

The Cambridge Company won the Auckland Provincial Butter Championship, and also the box of butter suitable for local trade, as well as two first and two second prizes. The Bruntwood Company won the class for coloured or white cheese suitable for export, and the special class for the Thornton Cup.
