BOGEY MATCH PLAYED WIN FOR H. N. FREEMAN A bogey match was played by members of the Cambridge Golf Club on Saturday, when conditions were excellent. The links were greatly improved as a result of the recent rain. The permanent greens which were in 'use for the first time this season, carried an even, sole of grass, and accurate putting was possible.
None of the contestants were better than bogey, but H. N. Freeman and K. L. Wilkinson played steady rounds to be all square. Wilkinson completed the course in 80 to give him the fine net medal score of 68 from a 12 handicap, but the count back resulted in Freeman being declared the winner.
The next best scores were: P. Lewis, A. W. Robertson and W. Scott, 2 down; R. Boucher, H. Clayton and A. H. Nicoll, 3 down; A. J. Law and L. Webber, 4 down; E. Nickle, 5 down.
