RE-CONNECTION OF WATER SUPPLY BOARD APPROVES ACTION A special meeting of the Learnington Town Board was held in the clerk's office yesterday when there were present, Messrs A. E. Peppercorn, J., W. Garland, Thos. Hounslow, G. Hastie, and R. S. Hanna (Town Clerk). A resolution- was passed approving of the action of .re-connecting the water supply to a ratepayer who had paid up a portion of his water rate. In connection with., the election of three members to fill the vacancies caused by the resignations of- Messrs Mack, Brock and Blackman, Mr R-. S. Hanna was appointed returning officer. As the election will take place on / August 8, it was decided that the next meeting of the board be postponed a week, until August 15. Mr A. E. Peppercorn was appointed acting-chairman until after the election of the full board.
