SEARCH IN WAIKATO JUMPED FROM TRAIN Police are searching in Hamilton and the Waikato for the man who jumped from the Auckland-Taneatua express near Tauranga last Tuesday. On Thursday a motor-car taken from Tauranga was found abandoned in Hamilton. On Tuesday of this week an attempt was made to remove a car parked outside the' residence of Mr F. W. Platts, Joft're .Street, Franktou, but a roan jumped out of the ' vehicle and ran away when he saw he was observed. During the night a motor-cycle was taken, from Mr Platts' garage, the thief having used a piece of hose to syphon benzine into the machine. ,
