ANNUAL MEETING HELD AT EARAPIRO CLUB'S IMPROVED CONDITION The annual meeting of the Karapiro Tennis Club was held in the Karapiro Hall on Tuesday evening, when Mr R. H. Finn presided. Owing perhaps to the prevalence of colds in the district there was only a small number of tennis enthusiasts present. The annual report for the past season showed a marked improvement, both socially and financially. The balance sheet was confirmed and adopted. The election of officers was then proceeded with and resulted as follows: President, Mr E. H. Finn (re-elected); vice-president, Mr P. Harris; club captain, Mr F. Jamieson (re-elected); secretary, Mr G. Rose. General Committee: Messrs.. ; R; ; ;H.>Finn, F. Harris, F. Jamieson,'. £fr-'Epse, G, Irela f.l, Mrs E. H. Finn, Misses L. Eose and V. Garland. Delegate to sub-association, Mr L. Bourkc. It was decided that subscriptions be reduced to —moil 5/- and ladies 2/6. Jt was also decided that a working ' bee be held at the courts on Tuesday next, to get the courts ready for .the formal opening on .Saturday, the 20th.
