THE FRANKTON SALE. DEMAND FOE FAT HOGGETS. All classes of sheep were yarded in large numbers at the Frankton saleyards on Tuesday. A large number was in an unfinished condition, with the result that competition was not so keen as .at last week’s sale. Prime quality ewes and wethers maintained last week’s quotations, while fat hoggets again met with- a brisk sale at advanced prices.

The yarding of ox beef was heavier than usual, and prices eased, on a dull market. Cow and heifer beef of good quality sold at about equal to last week’s quotations. There was a heavier yarding of fat pigs, all classes showing an advance in value. An extra large number of stores, and weaners were slightly easier in price.
