The winning efforts will be published in our Special Christinas Issue on December 17 BY CONDITIONS. ADULTS’ SECTION: First Prize £1 1/-; second prize 10/6. Entries are restricted to residents of the Cambridge district. Any subject may bo selected. * Entries must be written in ink or (preferably) type-written, and on one side of the paper only. Stories or essays should not be longer than 1500 -words. Name and address should accompany all entries. CHILDREN’S SECTION: First prize £1 1/-; second prize 10/6. Boys or girls attending any school in the Cambridge district aic ’ eligible to enter. Any subject may be selected. Write on one side of the paper only, and in ink. Efforts must be certified by a teacher of the school, that they are the competitor’s own work. Essays or stories should not be more than 1,000 words in length.
