TOWN HALL PICTURES
“LET US BE GAY.” STARRING NORMA SHEARER. Throe well-known and popular players on the audible screen are featured in the main attraction to bo screened at the Town Hall to-morrow evening and on Saturday, namely Norma Shearer, Marie Dressier and Rod la Roque. Miss Shearer and Miss Dressier have both been seen in films screened in Cambridge recently, but this will be the first time they have appeared together. Both are players of the first order and with Rod La Roquo as the man lead they give a fine combined interpretation of difficult roles. On the same programme Laurel an 1 Hardy, those inimitabio comedians appear in “Another Fine Mess,” a fourreel comedy that gives them plenty of scope to give full vent to tlieir laughter causing antics. Owing to Mr F. Lyc having engaged the Hall from 9 p.m., the picture entertainment will commence at 7.15 p.m., to allow time for tho lull programme to bo screened. On Saturday two matinees will be held in addition to the usual screening at 8 p.m. The first will bo at 1 p.m. and the second at 3 p.m.
