Mr J. M. Ranstcad has returned to Matangi from Christchureh, where he acted as judge of milking Shorthorns at the Royal Show. Mr Frank Penn has been elected secretary and treasurer of the Auckland District Council of the National Rose Society of New Zealand, a body which was formed at Auckland last evening.
