BANKRUPT PARMER

SYMPATHETIC CREDITORS. The low price ruling for buttcrfat was- given as the reason for his bankruptcy by Thomas Charles Foil, a farmer, of Cambridge, who was examined before the official assignee, Mr V. B. Crowhurst, in Hamilton yesterday. Bankrupt was farming at Tuhikaramea for live years and had to leave the land and sell his stock. He had paid his creditors 2/6 in the £. In answer to the official assignee bankrupt said he would be unable to make any offer to creditors this season. Several creditors expressed sympathy with bankrupt. No resolution was passed.
