Mr and Mrs A. J. Arnold, of Cambridge, have been spending a week with friends at Waitoa, and also visiting To Aroha for the jubilee celebrations. Mir Bruce Ferguson, an ex-Cambridge boy, is visiting Cambridge in the course of a motor tour through the Dominion, after spending five years in Australia. Mr W. B. Robertson, postmaster at Tirau, has been transferred to Paeroa as supervisor. Mr T. Davics, of Paeroa, has been appointed postmaster at Tirau. Lady Rutherford, of Cambridgeshire, England, who is on a short visit to New Zealand, spent the earlier part of this week at Cambridge, as the guest of her niece, Mrs Ivingsford. Lady Rutherford is wife of Sir Ernest Rutherford, the world-famous scientist.
