SPORTING

WAIKATO TROTS. SATURDAY'S MEETING. One .ofr.the week-end attractions will be the Autumn Meeting of the Waikato Trotting Club, on the Claudelands course, on Saturday next. With splendid fields engaged, excellent sport is promised. Acceptances are good, no less than. 18 being engaged in the Waikato Handicap, including many well-known horses. The course is in excellent order, and provided the present delightful weather continues, a record attendance is anticipated. Cambridge sports will doubtless attend in full force. The first race commences at 11.45 a.m. Excursion fares are available on the trains as advertised.
